Description

As regulators around the world look to implement Basel III, the impacts on balance sheet lenders couldn’t be more critical. Alongside this changing regulatory landscape, new technologies are offering new distribution and service models for retail bankers to consider and leverage, non traditional market entrants are stirring the competitive landscape and the payments landscape is undergoing a mass reorganisation.

At the heart of all this though is the key issue of ensuring that retail banks are able to provide increasingly demanding customers with access to the products they want via the varying platforms and instruments they wish to use, without hurting the interests of shareholders. This conference aims to investigate and illuminate some of the key issues around these topics, look at what the future might hold and see how integral retail deposits have become to the issue of the retail banking evolution.
